Most of the baby-boomer generation have at one time or
another thrilled to the sight of an electric train running around a
Christmas tree. And there's still quite a market for Christmas trains of
all makes and sizes, but what about a real train?
While not quite the Polar Express, in a number of
locations you can make a train ride a part of the Yule celebrations.
There are a lot of historic railways, several with steam, that offer
